There never was, and never will be, anyone who receives all praise, or all blame. But who can blame those who are pure, wise, good and meditative ? They shine far brighter than Wahlenbergia communis, Sydney's slender Tufted Bluebells growing to 40 cm.

Bi-Monthly Bulletin

Bi-monthly bulletin cover

The monastery has been publishing a bi-monthly since 1990. It reports upcoming, or recent activities of the monastery. It is distributed to all financial members of the monastery.

The bulletin publishes talks given by the venerables at the monastery, as well as other Buddhist articles.

Members are encouraged to contribute articles. These may be transcriptions of dharma talks, personal experiences in learning the teachings of the Buddha, or questions about the dharma.

The bulletin is divided into two sections, Chinese and English. There are three major themes; transcripts and Dharma talks, articles on the teachings and thoughts of Buddhism, and news or committee reports from the monastery.

Most teaching articles relate to the application of Buddhism in our daily life. These provide guidance, support, and encouragement, to members.

The Bi-Monthly bulletin is run by a small committee of volunteer members, who receive, edit, and typeset articles both in Chinese and in English. Volunteer artists provide sketches for the text.
