Hwa Tsang Monastery was officially founded on the 19th of May 1985 with Venerable Tsang Hui as the founding abbot. Board of Directors and Executive Committee were also formed to assist the Venerable with the running of activities at the monastery. Venerable Neng Rong is the current abbess of the Monastery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Our aims are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. To encourage the practice and the propagation of Buddhism in Australia;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. To encourage, foster and promote education among the Australian community;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. To foster mutual understanding and friendship between the Buddhist and other religious groups and the Australian public;<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. To provide welfare services to those who need help in the Australian community; and<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. To develop the monastery to benefit the interest of its members and of all Buddhists in Australia.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    \u83ef\u85cf\u5bfa\u6b63\u5f0f\u6210\u7acb\u65bc1985\u5e745\u670819\u65e5, \u4ee5\u4e0a<\/sup>\u85cf\u4e0b<\/sup>\u6167\u6cd5\u5e2b\u70ba\u5275\u5bfa\u4f4f\u6301, \u4e26\u7d44\u6210\u8463\u4e8b\u6703\u53ca\u57f7\u884c\u59d4\u54e1\u6703, \u5354\u52a9\u6cd5\u5e2b\u63a8\u52d5\u5bfa\u9662\u7684\u5404\u9805\u6d3b\u52d5\u3002\u4e0a<\/sup>\u80fd\u4e0b<\/sup> \u878d\u6cd5\u5e2b\u70ba\u83ef\u85cf\u5bfa\u73fe\u4efb\u4f4f\u6301\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    4. \u63d0\u4f9b\u793e\u5340\u798f\u5229\u670d\u52d9\u4e88\u6240\u9700\u8005\uff1b<\/li>\n\n\n\n
